In the winter and spring months of 2016, Serpentine Galleries launches The Magazine Sessions, a new series of immersive performances programmed in collaboration with Fiorucci Art Trust and taking place in the Zaha Hadid-designed space of The Magazine at the Serpentine North Gallery.
The Magazine Sessions invites artists to devise site-specific evenings of performance, where all aspects of the experience are considered. Events will range from specially-conceived music and theatre performances to immersive environments to be explored and activated by the visitor. As part of the concept for The Magazine sessions, artists will devise unique menus of vegan food and drink, in collaboration with The Magazine restaurant.

Monday 15 February: Matt Copson, A Woodland Truce, with Felicita and Musarc
Monday 21 March: Karl Holmqvist, PPPPJJHAAARRRRVEY, with AA Bronson, Nhu Duong, Klara Lidén, Ebe Oke, Mundi Vondi and friends
Monday 18 April: Emily Sundblad, Dichterliebe / Divine Bitches Part Two featuring Juliana Huxtable and Ken Okiishi
Monday 16 May: Celia Hempton, Tor with Thea Smith and Margaret Rinebold
Monday 21 November: Christian Holstad, red, yellow, lime, pink, lavender, green, scarlet, lavender, scarlet, green, lavender
Monday 12 December: Anthea Hamilton, grasses with Gervais Cedric Njonga Bitjoka, Jordan Johnhope and Kostas Tsioukas
The Magazine Restaurant will remain open until 10pm for food and drink on the evenings of the Sessions and during the run of exhibitions, the exhibition at the Serpentine North Gallery can be viewed from 7.30pm.
