Serpentine Directions: 5 Young Artists selected from Serpentine Gallery Shows 1970-71

An exhibition of five artists selected from those who had previously exhibited at the gallery during its first two years.

The Serpentine Committee selected five artists from more than 70 who had previously exhibited at the gallery during its first two years. The artists were encouraged to produce new work for the show, and a small tour was organised to take the exhibition to a wider audience.
