An exhibition of stage designs and paintings by Yolanda Sonnabend, featuring models for stage sets and related drawings.

This exhibition consisted of 12 models for stage sets, together with more than 300 related drawings and costume designs, and a selection of Sonnabend’s paintings. Sonnabend (b.1935) is known for her designs for the theatre, opera, and ballet, and for her paintings that often intersect with the world of the stage and those who inhabit it.

The majority of works in the exhibition had been made since her show at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in 1975.
