The Serpentine Galleries comprises two galleries situated 5 minutes walk from each other on either side of The Serpentine Bridge in the heart of the Royal Park of Kensington Gardens in central London. The Serpentine Gallery, established in 1970, and the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in 2013, present world-renowned exhibitions of art, architecture and design throughout the year.
Admission is free. Open 10am - 6pm, Tuesday - Sunday, plus bank holidays. Closed on Mondays.
The Serpentine Galleries will be closed on 24, 25, 26, 31 December 2017 and 1 January 2018. The Magazine Restaurant will be closed from 22 December 2017 to 31 March 2018 for refurbishment.
Due to heightened security measures, we are unable to accommodate bags at the Galleries. Only one, reasonably sized, personal bag per visitor will be permitted. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
