Assistant Visitor Experience Manager (p/t weekends Fri-Sun)

We have an exciting new opportunity that has come about as a result of the need to bolster our Visitor Experience Team over the weekends moving forward.

With its unique position in Kensington Gardens, our Visitor Experience Team engage with our many visitors from around the world on a daily basis.  The role of Assistant Visitor Experience Manager will strengthen the management team and support the Visitor Experience Manager in the delivery of our Visitor Experience Strategy. This role will also assist with the management of the visitor operation at both our Galleries ensuring the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience and the safety and security of artworks at all times. 

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience including supervisory, coaching and training experience. They should also have experience in delivering high standards of customer service and leading by example to motivate others.  They will be a confident, clear and effective communicator with the ability to build and develop good working relationships with those in their team and with people at all levels across the organisation.

Curatorial Assistant, Live Programmes (Temporary)

The Galleries are currently recruting for a Curatorial Assistant, Live Programmes to assist the Live Programmes Team with a number of events over summer and autumn. The role will assist the team from the week commecing 18 June until 28 September 2018.

The Curatorial Assistant, Live Programmes will have excellent communication skills, be capable of multi-tasking whilst maintaining great attention to detail, as well as some previous experience in producing events in a highly demanding environment.  They must be able work both independently as well as part of a team to present events such as the Park Nights Series and the annual Marathon and be able to prioritise their workload effectively.  The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is reliable, full of initiative and can demonstrate a keen interest in being involved in the Serpentine’s exciting programmes.
