Serpentine South Gallery 20 Jun — 19 Jul 1987 Free

An exhibition by the celebrated French artist, Daniel Buren, incorporating his signature red and white stripes.

This exhibition by Buren consisted of one new work that filled the gallery spaces and extended out onto the lawn. Consisting of a quasi-architectural intervention into the space of the gallery, two intersecting wall structures were covered in Buren’s signature red and white stripes, and dissected the gallery and the gardens.
