Serpentine Pavilion 16 Aug 2014 Free

Leonor Serrano Rivas performed Yet the sky is still the same, addressing the environment of the Serpentine Pavilion 2014.

A series of walks in and around the Serpentine Pavilion explores themes related to its design through conversation and performative interventions.

Leonor Serrano Rivas’ performance Yet the sky is still the same addressed the environment of the Serpentine Pavilion 2014 both in space and in memory. A series of choreographed movements inspired by the architecture of previous Pavilions drew imaginary lines through the Gallery’s site. On occasion, the performers’ trajectories activated sound fragments.

Choreographed by Barbara Gamper. Performed by John Tan, Dominika Dwernicka, Emilie Graham, Samantha Perry, Mélissa Sirol, Emma Berentsen and Fiona Harvey. Programme designed by Giles Round.
