Serpentine South Gallery 29 Jul — 20 Aug 1972 Free

The Serpentine’s fifth show in summer 1972 presented one artist in each of the five gallery spaces, and one artist on the grounds outside.

Works exhibited included Philip Vaughan’s Chaos/Order constructed from rotating lamps accompanied by a soundtrack, and David Henderson’s etchings and aquatint in the Print Gallery.

John Maine displayed Series of Variations on the gallery’s lawn.
