The Serpentine Gallery

The Serpentine Gallery was established in 1970 and is housed in a Grade II-listed former tea pavilion built in the 1930s by architect James Grey West.

The interconnecting galleries make it ideal for a large reception and easy to adapt for smaller groups and seated dinners.

Capacities in the space vary dependent on the exhibition in place at the time; however, the venue’s standard maximum standing capacities range from between 100–200, and seated dinner capacities can be for up to 60 in the North Gallery.
