Ticketing FAQs

How do I find out about ticket releases?

New ticket slots will be released frequently – sign up to our Serpentine newsletter or follow us on social media to be the first to hear about Serpentine ticket releases.

What if I want to visit but haven’t booked a ticket?

You may be able to visit the gallery without booking in advance during quieter times mid-week.

Staff will be able to advise you on arrival and you may need to wait before entry. To avoid disappointment, you must book in advance for busier times, such as weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. When can I visit and for how long? The gallery is open 10am-6pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

The last ticketed entry into the gallery is at 5pm. The gallery closes at 6pm. Visit duration is limited to 60 minutes.

Your safety is our priority; we’re continuing to limit numbers so that you can maintain social distancing inside the gallery.

What if I can’t make it?

If you can’t make your visit for any reason, please cancel so another visitor can see the exhibition.

What if I’m late?

We are unable to accommodate visitors who arrive more than 15 minutes late.

How many tickets can I book?

A maximum of four tickets and one time slot is available per booker. We will cancel individual orders that exceed group allocation or number of time slots.

Do I need to book a ticket for each exhibition?

If you would like to visit both exhibitions during your visit, you must book a separate timed ticket for each exhibition.
