Zhawi’s poetry reflects the dialogue between multiple cultures and places as well as how art and education can be used as intersectional tools.
Zhawi and invited guest Kareem Parkins Brown facilitated creative writing workshops with school groups exploring the themes of home, memory and cityscapes.
All the April workshops are now fully booked.
The workshops are free to state-funded schools in the Greater London area and for groups of up to 30 students, 8-15 years old (Years 4 – 10).
For more information or to enquire about July workshops please contact: Joanna Slusarczyk, Assistant Education Curator: [email protected]
