Serpentine South Gallery 18 Jan — 12 Mar 1995 Free

This exhibition showcased many aspects of Man Ray’s diverse work including his drawings, rayographs, objects, books and films.

Painter, photographer, maker of poetic objects, writer and film-maker Ray (1890-1976) was one of the most experimental and revolutionary innovators of the last century.

The Serpentine Gallery’s show was selected from an exhibition at Ronny Van de Velde in Antwerp. Additional works in every medium were added to the London showing.
