Serpentine South Gallery 19 Jul 2015 Free

Artist Holly White and friends invited participants to make a film-in-a-day, inspired by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s practice of completing a painting in one day.

White developed the ideas of fiction and movement in Yiadom-Boakye’s exhibition Verses After Dusk, turning the park into a film set for a futuristic space party. Children and adults worked with our team of artists to create their own imaginary identities. Participants joined the party and made costumes, took part in role play and danced as the day unfolded.
