Due to the hot weather, the Pavilion is now closed today (Friday 26 June). Both our exhibitions remain open as usual. Walk-up entry is always possible without a pre-booked ticket – but you may need to queue shortly before entering.
Artist Larry Achiampong invited families to assemble and animate an alternate identity.
Families worked with Achiampong to explore and construct new identities, using an assemblage of unexpected parts and pieces. Participants animated their assembled selves and saw their new identities come to life on screen. Together, we turned our realities upside down and reconsidered the world around us.
This Family Day was a free drop-in event and was open to people of all ages.
