Amira Ghazalla is a performer working many tongues and cultures. Ghazalla trained and worked in Germany in Theatre and Film. She studied in Italy Dance and Improvisation, and her research is inspired by the ISTA. Years of research, travel and study in the Arab world, examining ancient movement, rituals and the transmitted physical heritage informs her performance. Her credits in recent years include, in TV: Game of Thrones and The Honrouable Woman; in film: My Brother the Devil and Sandcastle; in theatre PlanD at the Tristan Bates Theatre and At Your Service at the Cairo Opera House. Her performance Macharej, an exploration of sound, was performed at diverse venues in London and invited to the Irtijal festival.
Camille Henrot's practice combines film, drawing and sculpture. Taking inspiration from subjects as varied as literature, mythology, cinema, anthropology, evolutionary biology, religion and the banality of everyday life, Henrot’s work acutely reconsiders the typologies of objects and established systems of knowledge. Her film Grosse Fatigue was awarded the Silver Lion at the 55th Venice Biennale. Exhibitions include The Pale Fox (Chisenhale Gallery, Kunsthal Charlottenburg and Bétonsalon and Westfällischer Kunstverein). Forthcoming solo exhibitions include Palais de Tokyo, the Hammer Museum and Fondazione Memmo. Recent solo exhibitions include New Museum, Schinkel Pavilion, New Orleans Museum of Art and Musée du Jeu de Paume. Group shows have included MoMA, Centre Pompidou, Astrup Fearnley Museet, Stedelijk Museum, SculptureCenter, Lyon Biennial (2015) and Berlin Biennial (2016). She is the recipient of the 2014 Nam Jun Paik Award and the Edvard Munch Art Award 2015.
Jacob Bromberg is a poet, translator, and contributing editor for The White Review. He frequently collaborates with Camille Henrot, and operates DiggingForEarth, a literary clip art Twitter feed. He is ten foot tall and made of gold.
Milovan Farronato is Director and Curator of Fiorucci Art Trust, developing the itinerant Roadside Picnic and Volcano Extravaganza in Stromboli. With Paulina Olowska he initiated Mycorial Theatre, Rabka, Poland. He conceived The violent No! as part of the public programme of the 14th Istanbul Biennial (2015). He previously held positions at Viafarini; DOCVA Documentation Centre for Visual Arts, Milan and Galleria Civica di Modena. He was professor of Visual Cultures at CLADEM, Università IUAV, Treviso/Venice (2008-2015).
