Venue Hire

Located within the historic landscape of Kensington Gardens, Serpentine offers four unique event spaces that can be hired for all types of events, including corporate breakfasts and receptions, seated dinners, product launches, fashion shows, filming, and private functions. Comprising of Serpentine South, Serpentine North, The Magazine and the annual Serpentine Pavilion, Serpentine offers a spectacular collection of spaces that combine the grace of historic Grade II-listed buildings with innovative architecture and contemporary art spaces.

Available year-round, Serpentine celebrates the very best in contemporary art with an annual programme of changing exhibitions. Each exhibition provides an extraordinary setting within which to hold your event.

Complementing the seasonal programme is the acclaimed Serpentine Pavilion, situated on the lawn next to Serpentine South from June-October annually. The Pavilion extends the venue, making it a premium summer reception space that combines both indoor and outdoor space, art, and architecture.

By hosting your event at Serpentine, you are supporting our charitable mission to keep art and architecture open and accessible to all.

Serpentine North

Serpentine North opened in 2013 for public use for the first time in its 208-year history. A former 1805 Grade II-listed gunpowder store, Serpentine North is made up of two central rectangular Powder rooms with exposed brick and beams, encompassed by a square modern gallery. Event capacities and activities within Serpentine North vary depending on the exhibition on view at the time.

Serpentine Pavilion - Coming Soon in June 2025

Since its launch in 2000, the annual Serpentine Pavilion has become one of the most anticipated events in the global cultural calendar, and a leading visitor attraction during London’s Summer season of culture.

Each year, an internationally known architect is invited to design and create their first built structure in England: the Serpentine Pavilion. Designs of the Pavilion vary dramatically, changing the capacity of the structure itself, but each design includes a water-proof covering, lighting, power, and an in-built bar.
