Our galleries have step-free access and a range of facilities for disabled visitors.

We’ll do all we can to ensure your visit to the Galleries is comfortable. Our Visitor Experience team are happy to help with any special access requirements.

Working guide and hearing dogs are welcome in the galleries. ​​No animals except assistance dogs are permitted in our galleries.

Our audio tours interpret the exhibition or feature additional content. Listen via the Bloomberg Connects App  on your mobile. 

There are baby changing facilities at both Galleries.

There are no cloakroom facilities. We cannot accommodate large holdalls, rucksacks or wheelie bags during your visit. Only one, cabin sized, personal bag per visitor is permitted. It must be worn across the front or side to avoid accidental damage to artworks.

Cycle Hire Docking Stations are:
  • opposite Serpentine North & Serpentine South
  • Seville Street (by Knightsbridge station)
  • South Carriage Drive (by Hyde Park Corner station)
  • Bayswater Road (by Lancaster Gate)

To park your own bike, Sheffield stands are available at both galleries and at various locations throughout the park. See all parking spots on Active Things.

There is metered car parking in Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. We encourage visitors to walk or use public transport where possible.

Only working guide and hearing dogs are welcome in the galleries.

There are several dog rings and a water bowl outside Serpentine South where all dogs can be kept for short visits at the owner’s risk. All dogs on leads are welcome inside the Serpentine Pavilion during the summer.

Food and drink is not permitted in the galleries. You can buy food and drink at our cafés and restaurant:

Our Gallery Hosts are trained to introduce and discuss the artworks with all visitors.

There are wheelchair accessible/gender-neutral toilets in both galleries.

Each gallery has a wheelchair available for visitors to borrow. Ask a member of staff on arrival. Please note this is subject to availability. All spaces are wheelchair accessible.
