Own a piece of Serpentine History

Since 1989, artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Bridget Riley, Chris Ofili, Cindy Sherman and Grayson Perry have all produced Limited Editions, ranging from objects such as small sculptures and skateboards, to etchings, C-prints, neons and vinyl records.

Each sale directly supports Serpentine Galleries’ exhibitions, architecture, education, live and digital programmes.

The Serpentine has a rich history of publishing artists’ editions for more than 30 years. Working with established and emerging artists, architects and designers, who have either exhibited at the Galleries or with whom we share a close working relationship, limited editions offer our community a unique opportunity to acquire works by contemporary artists, designers and architects.

Limited Editions tour globally to art fairs, reaching wider audiences by participating in Allied Editions, a unique artist editions collective made up of seven of London’s leading not-for-profit arts organisations: Camden Arts Centre, Chisenhale Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), South London Gallery, Studio Voltaire, Serpentine Galleries and Whitechapel Gallery. Supported by Frieze Art Fair, the collective hosts a shared stand at Frieze London and Frieze New York, showcasing specially commissioned limited editions for sale. Participating contemporary artists donate editions, the proceeds of which directly support the organisations’ exhibition and education programmes. The initiative has raised over £1.3 million to date.

A curated selection of limited editions, in a variety of mediums, including print, works on paper, ceramics and sculpture are available to view in person at the Galleries, in our shop and by appointment by contacting our limited editions team. Works can also be purchased directly on our website.
