Serpentine is free and open to all. We have two galleries, a café, shop and in the summertime a Pavilion for you to explore. If you have any questions or need anything our Visitor Experience Team are very happy to help.

  • It’s ok to talk and make some noise in the galleries
  • Drawing in pencil on paper is encouraged in our galleries
  • This visual story provides images and text to help you prepare for your visit to Serpentine
  • You are welcome to have a picnic on the lawn. Or visit our café at Serpentine North
  • It’s a short walk between our two galleries Serpentine North and Serpentine South (0.3 miles)
  • The nearest Tube station is Lancaster Gate on the Central Line (0.5 miles) or Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly line (0.7 miles)
  • Buggies are welcome in the galleries, please keep them with you
  • If you need a seat in an exhibition, just ask our team for a stool
  • Serpentine North and South have toilets with baby change facilities
  • Serpentine is breastfeeding friendly, feel free to ask our team for a stool to sit on
  • We have free nappies, wipes and sanitary towels available at the lobby desks if needed
  • Koenig Bookshop at Serpentine South has a selection of children’s books to browse
