Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst: The Call – Finissage
For their exhibition at Serpentine, artists Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst collectively trained bespoke AI models with data they made recording choirs across the UK.
Shortly before ‘The Call’ closed, the artists invited members of the public to see for themselves how these models were developed through one final recording session at Stone Nest. Participants could choose to be part of the choir and contribute their voices to the training data, which will then be used as the project evolves.
