Arshile Gorky: Paintings and Drawings

An exhibition of works by the celebrated Armenian-American painter Arshile Gorky (1904-48).

This exhibition traced the development of Gorky as an artist, from his early, relatively unknown work, to his last pieces completed in late 1947.

The exhibition was first shown at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, from 19 December 1976 to 16 January 1977.
