Barrie Cook: Four Paintings 1967–71

Serpentine South Gallery 24 Jan — 24 Feb 1988 Free

Four large paintings, each occupying a whole wall of the Serpentine’s Central Gallery, formed this exhibition of Barrie Cook’s work.

The four paintings exhibited in this show belonged to Cook’s Continuum series, painted between 1967 and 1971. This was the first time these works were shown in London.
