The Serpentine Gallery’s exhibition of the American abstract painter Brice Marden was the first on this scale in a public gallery in the UK since 1981.
The exhibition consisted of 18 paintings by Brice Marden, as well as works on paper from the 1990s, and presented for the first time the Attendents, the artist’s most recently completed series of paintings and related works.
