Serpentine Pavilion Sunday 14 September 2025, 2-9pm Free

Serving as a bridge between the formal frameworks and the self-initiated expression, ‘Painting Landscapes’ brings together visual artists shaping contemporary culture across multiple artistic practices.

Curated by Francisco Gaspar and Tawanda Chiweshe, founders of Courtesy Of and in collaboration with Kazeem Kuteyi of New Currency, the extended programme in the Serpentine Pavilion champions innovative thinking and unconventional ideas, offering a living framework to explore how culture moves and how we it can be understood in real time.

The event will feature panel discussions during the afternoon and will culminate with live performances in the evening.

Rooted in Contemporary Landscapes and conceived by Francisco Gaspar and Tawanda Chiweshe, Courtesy Of extends the shared values with their mentor and collaborator Virgil Abloh. The programme provides a space where artists and audiences engage across disciplines. Without a fixed identity, each iteration is shaped by its collaborators and context, creating a platform where live presentation, creative contemplation, and cultural exchange intersect under a singular idea guiding concept
