Five From Germany

Serpentine South Gallery 1 Nov — 1 Dec 1974 Free

This exhibition sought to explore how the work of five artists reflected Germany’s economic, social, and cultural circumstances of the time.

The impetus for this exhibition came from the German Institute in London, and was part of a broad programme of events representing the arts in present-day Germany.

All the artists were established in Germany but relatively unknown abroad.

The exhibition was curated by Robert Kudielka.
