Johannes Dörflinger: Life Cycle paintings and drawings

An exhibition of the work of German artist Johannes Dörflinger.

For this exhibition, German artist Dörflinger (b.1941) worked on a series of 12 canvases relating to the months of the year, titled Life Cycle. These complex paintings, and the 12 drawings on which they were based, formed the main part of this exhibition.

There was also a smaller group of related works, and examples from a set of 22 lithographs, published in 1975, illustrating the Major Arcana of the Tarot.
