An exhibition of oil paintings and watercolours by the English painter Mary Potter.

This exhibition of the twentieth-century English painter Potter was staged in the year that she died, at the age of 81. The show included 98 oil paintings and 33 watercolours encompassing her 60-year career from 1922 to 1980, including works from the years in which she was exhibiting with the London Group.

In the catalogue introduction to this show, David Brown wrote that two recurring motifs were visible in Potter’s work: water and windows. Other themes in her work include domesticity and still lifes.
