Order and Experience, American Minimal Art

Serpentine South Gallery 20 December 1975 — 18 January 1976 Free

This exhibition displayed a selection of American minimalist prints.

Parasol Press in New York loaned a selection of American minimalist prints in the exhibition, which included artists that had rarely been seen in Britain.

Works featured in the show included Sol Lewitt’s Bands of Colour, a series of aquatints from Robert Ryman and Robert Mangold, and On a clear day, a portfolio of 30 colour screenprints by Agnes Martin, begun in 1967 and completed in 1973.
