Implicated Theatre presented a morning of workshop performances, based on the true experiences of members of the company and hospitality workers from Unite’s Hotel Workers Branch.

The performance was developed from a series of workshops instigated by the launch of Our Story – A Tale of Two Cities, a graphic organising novel by Barbara Pokryszka, an artist and hotel worker who was part of the initial set of workshops with Implicated Theatre earlier that year. Set in a hotel, the story was about low pay, workplace bullying and hope through solidarity and organisation. The workshops were held at the end of year celebrations organised by the United Migrant Workers Education Project (UMWEP).
