Simnett completed her MA at the Slade School of Art in 2013. Working with video and drawing, her recent body of work explores themes of sexuality, innocence, corruption and martyrdom. In 2013, she won the Adrian Carruthers Award and William Coldstream Prize, and in 2015 she was a recipient of the Jerwood/FVU Awards.
