Tamara Henderson’s Seasons End: Out of Body was a choreography for film, twenty-four frames per second. Costumed nomadic species moved through character phases, embodying their pasts in the present, collectively pulsing a plot-twisting heartbeat. Costumes produced and designed with Aude Levere.
Tamara Henderson is an artist known for her writing and photography which organically develop into sculpture and film works. Her practice takes an instinctive approach and often inanimate objects form an aspect of implied participation. She is interested in states of being and positing the suggestion of an escape from conscious experience.
Park Nights is the Serpentine’s experimental, interdisciplinary live platform, programmed for the Galleries’ annual architectural commission, the Serpentine Pavilion.
