Alongside paintings, this exhibition included a selection of Paula Rego’s earliest drawings and collages, which had never previously been exhibited in London.
The selected works included her well-known series of animal characters, as well as some of her most recent works, which marked a new chapter in her painting and were shown for the first time at the Serpentine Gallery.
