Serpentine South Gallery 20 Jun — 5 Aug 2001 Free

This was the first solo presentation of the sculpture of Rachel Whiteread in a public art gallery in London.

The exhibition featured two major new pieces, alongside classic works created since 1988 and borrowed from public and private collections internationally. Works included a cast iron floor piece that visitors could walk across in the South Gallery and a staircase that reached high up into the dome of the Central Gallery.
