The Rodchenko Family Workshop

This exhibition was the most comprehensive combined presentation of the works of husband and wife team Aleksandr Rodchenko and Varvara Stepanova yet seen in the United Kingdom.

Included in the show were a number of works never before exhibited outside the Soviet Union. Developed in partnership with Glasgow Museums and Art Galleries, the exhibition was accompanied by a publication that documented the work of Aleksandr and Varvara, along with work by some of their children.

The publication was compiled by daughter Varvara Rodchenko and Aleksandr Lavrentiev, and edited by Christopher Carrell et al.
