Saturdays Live: Tabita Rezaire, MerKaBa For The Hoeteps

Serpentine South Gallery 18 May 2019 Free

In the context of Emma Kunz‘s exhibition artist Tabita Rezaire presented MerKaBa For The Hoeteps, a collective healing offering.

A meditative journey into the wisdom of Kemetic Yoga* to awaken your light beings and reclaim your hoetep powers. In our times of ultra disconnection, ancient African teachings offer guidance to raise our vibrational frequency and tune into our energy source.

The spiritual technology of Kemetic Yoga enables us to reconnect and remember our divine creative essence through the science of breath, geometrical alignments, storytelling and the power of sound. As we embody ancestral tales and stimulate our body memory, we allow for subtle quantum reprogramming to balance the flow of energy and nurture the sacred geometry of our beings and environments.

Turn your MerKaBa on.

* Kemetic yoga is the African science of yoga from Kemet (ancient Egypt). It is a healing spiritual system based upon deep breathing, meditation and a set of geometrical postures dependent on the connection to Kemetic ancestors and the understanding of the cosmic forces of nature.

Tabita Rezaire is an artist-healer-seeker working with screens and energy streams. Her cross-dimensional practice envisions network sciences – organic, electronic and spiritual – as healing technologies to serve the shift towards heart consciousness. Navigating digital, corporeal and ancestral memory as sites of struggles, she digs into scientific imaginaries to tackle the pervasive matrix of coloniality that affect the songs of our body-mind-spirits. Tabita is based in Cayenne, French Guyana.
