This exhibition presented all of Willem de Kooning’s sculptures cast in bronze to date, together with a selection of related paintings, drawings, and lithographs.

Willem de Kooning began creating his sculptures when he was 65, during a visit to Rome. The Serpentine Gallery exhibition introduced the public to this new strand in his art, together with a selection of related paintings, drawings, and lithographs.
