Artist and film-maker Patrick Goddard shows two recent films addressing money, complicity and commitment. Followed by a conversation with Ben Eastham. This screening is presented in collaboration with The White Review.

Patrick Goddard (b. 1984) is an artist working in East London. Completing an MFA at Goldsmiths University in 2011, he is currently studying for a Doctorate at Ruskin College, Oxford University, focusing on a sociological exploration of high finance and complicity. Recent shows include: Gone To Croatan, Outpost Gallery, Norwich (2015) and Revolver II, Matt’s Gallery, London (2014) as well as Fig2 with The White Review, ICA, London and Objective Considerations of Contemporary Phenomena, M.O.T. International Projects, London, (both 2015). Recent performances have taken place at Matt’s Gallery; Wysing Arts Centre; French Riviera, London and Grand Union, Birmingham. His debut graphic novel Operation Paperclip was published in 2014.

Ben Eastham is a writer, editor and occasional curator based in London. He is the co-founder and editor of The White Review and the co-author with Katya Tylevich of My Life as a Work of Art (Laurence King, 2016).
