The second exhibition in the Serpentine Gallery summertime series for 1973 presented work by artists under 35 years of age.

The five painters and one sculptor (Julian Hawkes) in this exhibition were chosen from over 300 open submissions.

The exhibition was curated by Paul Huxley.
