Serpentine Photography 73

Serpentine South Gallery 28 Jul — 19 Aug 1973 Free

Photography was the focus for this, the third exhibition in the Serpentine’s summertime series for 1973.

This was the first time that a summer show had been devoted entirely to photography. Forty-three photographers were chosen from over 200 applicants, with an emphasis on recent graduates and emerging practitioners.

The exhibition was curated by Peter Turner.
