Summer Show 2 [1976]
An exhibition of painters and sculptors selected by John Golding.
The painters and sculptors Golding chose for the second summer show of 1976 were artists he admired, but whom he felt had not yet received the exposure they deserved. Golding seized the opportunity to use the Serpentine Gallery’s spaces to display works of four artists whose practices were perhaps not easily accommodated by commercial galleries at the time.
