The third of the Serpentine’s summer shows for 1977 featured work by six artists, including a programme of performances.

The third of the Serpentine’s summer shows for 1977 featured an eclectic selection of work accompanied by a lively programme of performances. The exhibition included Karin Fleischer’s Stadtdetail I, Mali Morris’ acrylic on canvas work Painting Colour Place II, Fred Stiven’s August 1, 1976, and Roger Westwood’s Metaphysical interior.

Performances from Music and Dance, Janet Smith Dance Group, The Pump and Pluck Band, and Maedée Duprès occurred throughout the show.

The exhibition was curated by Derek Boshier, Patrick Caulfield, and Judy Marle.
