Serpentine South Gallery 22 Apr 2017 Free

Rehana Zaman discusses her practice and recent projects. Her work considers the interplay of multiple social dynamics that constitute subjects along particular socio-political formations.

Zaman’s narrative-based pieces are often deadpan and neurotic, and frequently generated through conversation and collaboration with others. She also developed a residency with Serpentine Galleries Projects.

Unwritten Handbook was a seasonal series of conversations with artists commissioned through Education and Projects at the Serpentine Galleries. Artist Talks included: Paul Maheke, Stephanie Cubbin, Chris Jones and Janna Graham, Bedfellows, Anton Kats, Frances Rifkin, Invisible Spaces of Parenthood, Sam Curtis and Mohamad Hafeda.
