Families joined artist Renata Bandeira for a weekend of shape-shifting sculpture and movement.
Children and their families transformed a collection of loose parts into collective sculptures.
We drew lines in space around the studio, shifted shapes with sculptures on the lawn and captured movement around the site to create a geometric blueprint for others to follow.
Shifting shapes throughout the weekend, the social sculptures prompted us to think about how we interact with each other and the world around us.
The Family Weekend was programmed in parallel to the 2016 Architecture Programme and was a free drop-in event, open to people of all ages.
