As part of Park Nights 2014, artist Hannah Perry produced a new, site-specific work.
Inspired by her editing practice, Perry produced a new, site-specific work, which resulted in the unfolding pace of a performance film, with all its jolts, stirs and jump-cuts.

Perry (born 1984) is a British artist working mainly in installation, print and video. She graduated from Goldsmiths College in 2009 and from The Royal Academy of Arts in 2014. Continuously generating and manipulating materials (footage, sound clips, images and objects), Perry develops a sprawling network of references, carefully exploring personal memory in today’s hyper-technological society whilst bending back the systems of representation via hyperactive distribution. Perry is guided by music or speech, repetition, focalization and deceleration, revealing the strength of our personal investment in images of the illusory (youth, power, sex, taste, lifestyle), as well as the prescriptive nature of these desires.
Between June and October 2014, Serpentine Galleries presented Park Nights, an annual series of live art, poetry, music, film, literature, performance and theory. In 2014, eight events took place on selected Friday evenings in the unique environment of the Serpentine Pavilion 2014, designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radić.
