Our Relaxed Hours session welcomes visitors with disabilities, neurodiverse needs and sensory processing differences alongside their families, friends and carers.
Join us for our Relaxed Hours in the exhibition David Hockney: A Year In Normandie and Some Other Thoughts About Painting.
Relaxed Hours offers dedicated time for anyone who might benefit from a more spacious, gentle environment. The session is designed for visitors who experience sensory sensitivities, neurodivergent individuals and anyone who would appreciate a gentler, less crowded experience. Families, friends and carers are warmly welcome.
During Relaxed Hours, there are no additional lighting effects or music in the gallery. Please note that the exhibition itself has low lighting to protect the artwork and some full-length mirrors that play with perspective. Visitors are welcome to move freely, talk and make noise throughout the space. Ear defenders are available upon request.
To help maintain a comfortable atmosphere and reduced capacity, this is a ticketed event. Tickets are free, and donations are welcome.
